“Remember, then, that you received the spiritual seal, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and strength, the spirit of knowledge and godliness, the spirit of holy fear… Guard what you have received.”
— St. Ambrose
The Sacrament of Confirmation completes the grace of Baptism, binding us more closely to Christ and His Church (CCC 1285). Through the anointing with holy chrism, we are sealed with the gifts of the Holy Spirit, empowering us to live as faithful witnesses of Christ in our daily lives. Confirmation deepens our commitment to live out the Gospel, equipping us to courageously spread the faith and serve others. With the Holy Spirit as our guide, we are called to grow in wisdom, understanding, and love, actively participating in the mission of the Church.
